Internet Explorer for Ubuntu Linux
Sunday, July 22nd, 2007Here you can find the steps to run Internet Explorer 6 into Ubuntu Linux (all the last releases).
As it’s explained, first of all you should install wine by using the official site of the project.
Once the installation is completed, you can launch IE in this way:
/root/bin/ie6
I’ve just tried with my Kubuntu Feisty. To be honest, the program runs very bad. I think that the rendering of the webpages is far from what the genuine Internet Explorer running on Windows would do.
